While i like the sopranos, i find the show fairly obvious and overly self-absorbed/referential. It's a nice soap opera with great hype. I found the final episode far less dense than a good episode of Beavis and Butthead (which is a way better show). That said, this past year was better than the previous two -- in that the writing seemed to intentionally and humorously mock the show's past episodes. Chase is good -- at business, which is what,for me, the last episode symbolized. dra
